The Writers' Center at Chautauqua is an independent organization of writers and poets from across the country and around the world, located on the grounds of the world-famous Chautauqua Institution, a center for the arts, recreation, religion and education. Located on 740 acres of the shores of a pristine western new York lake, the center offers nine full summertime weeks for writers and poets of all degrees of accomplishment -- for a very reasonable fee.
